Individual Psychotherapy & EMDR

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) form the foundation of my practice. I draw on research on trauma, developmental psychology, attachment and emotion theory, and mindfulness. Overarching in my style is an attention to, and working with, the therapeutic relationship and the mind, body, and emotions. Psychotherapy is collaborative, exploratory, experiential, and oriented toward healing and transformation.

AEDP and EMDR are effective treatments for a variety of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, communication challenges, low self-esteem, and stress management.

We work together to strengthen your connection with your inner resources, enlist your imagination, and clear channels for energy to flow more freely.

Benefits of psychotherapy can include processing trauma and increasing vitality, improved mood, improved sense of agency, style of communication, and quality of relationships, developing a healthier lifestyle, and cultivating self compassion.
